"It's Time For Porn to Change", she says, and we couldn't agree more.
It's a great, semi-autobiographical story about how she got into making feminist porn, full of feminist outrage about the state of porn. The turning point, she tells us, was her reading of Linda Williams's book Hardcore, from which she learns that porn is a discourse in which women simply are not participating. So she decides to get involved. Her first project was "The Good Girl", which would eventually become part of Five Hot Stories for Her. And the rest, of course, is herstory.
Best quote: "Don't get me wrong. The sex can stay dirty. But the values have to be clean."
