Review
This was Jacky St James's last movie for New Sensations: She has since she left for Sweet Sinner. As with many of her other movies, The Proposal is a collection of four vignettes. These ones, obviously, are organized around marriage proposals—not all of them, surprisingly, successful. We enjoyed all of the stories, even if the last one was a bit too short.
The sex is reasonably natural and passionate, but there is not much variety. The best scene is probably the last one, with Stevie Foxx (a relative newcomer, in one of her first ten films, according to IAFD) and Derrick Pierce. There is just a great sense of connection between them, and Foxx really seems into the sex, without over-doing it, if you know what we mean.
The first scene, with Adria Rae and Tyler Nixon, is also very good. Some of the sequences go on a bit long, but there is a great sense of connection between them, again. And the third, with Abella Danger and Ryan McLane, is almost as good. They both act their parts very well, and there is some great eye-contact while they are making love. The second scene, however, with Gia Paige and Logan Pierce, is a bit of a disappointment. It's the least conventional of the stories, which we appreciated, but the sex is marred by her over-emphasizing her pleasure, so to speak.
The photography is reasonably well balanced, though we do lose the men a bit at times, especially, as usual, once they start fucking. And the choices of angles and shots are pretty conventional, though there are some nice close-ups of faces, especially in the third and fourth scenes. But there aren't any really great shots here.

Tyler has been trying for weeks to work up the courage to ask his girlfriend Adria to marry him. But he never quite manages, and when he finally thinks the time is right, he loses the ring. She finally finds it in his pants pocket when doing the laundry, which leads to a sweet moment.
And sex. Which is very good. Some of the sequences may go on a bit long, but there is a great sense of connection between them, and they do a good job carrying their characters' relationship, and excitement, into the sex. We apreciated the kissing and caressing at the beginning as well as his enthusiasm for going down on her. It also was very natural how she masturbated to orgasm while they were fucking.
Scene 2: Gia Paige and Logan Pierce (♀♂)

When Logan proposes to Gia, she says she thinks they are too young to marry, and he is devastated. They remain friends for a time, but then he feels he has to let go, which leads her to realize how much she loves him.
It's a sweet if slightly soppy story, and the sex is natural and reasonably passionate. There is a lot of kissing as they undress, and the change of location, when they move to the bedroom, adds a bit of variety. The sex once they get there, though, is a bit predictable, and her vocalizations are not always convincing, especially when she allegedly cums, which distracts from the sense of realism.
Scene 3: Abella Danger and Ryan McLane (♀♂)

They both act their parts very well, but especially her, and they carry the story into the sex at least through the way they relate to each other. There is some really intense eye contact between them, and we liked the way she talked to him. We do wish she'd say "Oh my God" a lot less, though. It's just distracting.
Overall, the sex is reasonably natural and passionate. She, in particular, really does seem into it, and to be very aroused. We are pretty sure that she cums at least once, while she is riding him.
Scene 4: Stevie Foxx and Derrick Pierce (♀♂)

The sex is once again natural and passionate, and after the last two scenes we really appreciated how 'restrained' her expressions of pleasure were. There is really a great sense of connection between them, too, and we loved the way he talked to her, especially. She really seems to enjoy his going down on her, and she has a pretty intense orgasm, masturbating as they fuck.
The photography here is the best in the movie. There are the usual sorts of problems with framing, but there are also some really nice shots that highlight the connection between them.
