Review
A collection of stories about romantic and sexual relationships that trans-women have with men.
The first scene stands alone and tells the story of a transexual woman's coming-out to her boyfriend. It is extremely moving and might even serve as a kind of manifesto for trans-porn of the future. Amy Daly is fantastic as Lisa and, while Christian is not as good as her boyfriend, he is good enough.
The second to fourth scene, together, constitute a kind of trilogy, which is titled "Office Affair". It concerns a quadrangle: Robert Christian has sex with his assistant, Brittany St Jordan, while his girlfriend, Sarina Valentina, is having sex with her lover, Spencer Fox. Robert and Sarina then have make-up sex at home. The first two of these are fine but not great. The last one is terrific, though, with great chemistry and some very hot sex. We'll note that nothing is made in these scenes of the fact that the women are transexual. That seems appropriate, since they are all well-known to their male lovers.
If we have a main criticism, it is that there is not a lot of female pleasure here. Daly certainly seems to enjoy herself in the first scene, but St. Jordan and Valentina never seem to be very aroused in the next two. Valentina's orgasm in the last scene is the only female orgasm in the movie.
To be honest, one of the reasons we rated this movie as highly as we did is simply because it is so important, as a film. Transexual women are rarely treated as women in porn, or even as people. Here, though, they are all treated as real human beings with feelings and interests, and that is extremely refreshing.
This movie won the 2013 Feminist Porn Award for Steamiest Romantic Movie.
Scene 1: Meeting the Parents (Amy Daly and Christian XXX, ⚧♀)

Lisa (Amy Daly) and Christian have been dating for some time, but they have not yet been intimate. When he takes her to meet his parents, though, a storm forces them to stay the night, which forces Amy to share her "secret" with him. His reaction is beautiful, and he does an amazing job conveying his confusion, but then confirms his love for her. They end up, of course, having sex.
The acting is generally very good. Erica Lauren and Ian Whitcomb are fantastic as Christian's parents. They are really quite funny, and very natural. But there are times when Christian's dialogue seems a little forced, though he is never terrible. Daly is amazing, especially in the crucial scene, when she conveys perfectly how scared and vulnerable she is.
The backstory consumes about 16:00, so the sex lasts about 24:00. And the sex is generally quite realistic and passionate. She seems to enjoy herself, but she never really seems all that aroused. That struck us as wrong, since this is the first time she's having sex with her some-time boyfriend, who really cares about her. But they do a very good job staying in role, and there is some nice communication between them, though not quite as much as we would have liked.
The camera work is, as usual with Noelle, terrific, though there are a few more "medical" shots than we would prefer.
Scene 2: Office Affair Part 1 (Brittany St. Jordan and Robert Christian, ⚧♀)

The sex is fine, but we thought the fucking sequences went on a bit too long and became a bit monotonous. She also never seems all that aroused.
The camera work is quite good, as usual, though we lose him when the are doggy style. There were also a few too many medical shots for us.
Scene 3: Office Affair Part 2 (Sarina Valentina and Spencer Fox, ⚧♀)

The story lasts about two minutes, leaving 22 minutes for sex. There isn't much to the story, obviously, and the acting is pretty poor.
The sex does not feel routine, but it does not feel terribly natural or passionate, either, though there is some chemistry between them. But she never seems terribly aroused.
The camera work is very good, but we do lose him a bit at times when they are fucking.
Scene 4: Office Affair Part 3 (Sarina Valentina and Robert Christian, ⚧♀)

Robert comes home very late, and they have a fight, since both of them know that the other has been fucking their respective lover. So they have makeup sex.
The story, such as it is, consumes barely two minutes, so there is 31 minutes of sex. That makes this a very long scene, so it needs to be really good. And it is quite good. The sex is extremely natural and loving, and they are very convincing as a couple. There is a lot of kissing at the beginning, maybe six minutes, interspresed with their undressing and his sucking her tits. He is wonderfully attentive to her pleasure, and she does seem to enjoy herself. Still, a lot of the sequences seem to go on a bit longer than need be and might have been edited a bit. The doggy style fucking gets quite monotonous, for example. But she does cum—which is the only female orgasm in either of the two TransRomantic movies.
The camera work is very good, and better than in the previous two scenes. There is a better mix of shots and a more intimate feel—though there are, again, a few more medical shots than we would prefer.
