Review

John (Rocco Reed) returns home early from a long business trip, surprising his wife Caroline (Kirsten Price). After they make love, she goes out to get him some vanilla ice cream, but is killed in a car accident. The rest of the story is about how he finds love again, and it is incredibly sweet.

This is a very good movie. Amazingly, the story may be the best thing about it. It's not deep, obviously, but we've seen mainstream movies in theaters with less of a storyline. The sex is pretty good, too, and well integrated into the story, but not terribly passionate most of the time. The scenes are also fairly short, around 10-12 minutes.

There's a weird sort of flashback or flashforward trope that Daniels keeps using that seems very forced, but there is decent gender balance in the camera work, and there is a lot of talking and affection in the sex scenes that makes them very convincing. And sexy.
