Review

Michael (Xander Corvus) is a romance novelist who has severe writer's block, so Danielle (Jessica Drake) is sent to help him. The first three scenes are Latin-tinged and come from the book he is writing. The last two are `real life' (in the story, of course).

The story is in some ways better than the sex, though Drake over-acts quite a bit. The sex is generally soft and sweet, with lots of foreplay, but maybe a bit too soft and sweet, and not passionate enough. With the exception of the fourth scene, they are all quite short, as well, and when they seem to get going, suddenly they are over.

The first and last scenes are pretty good, but the other three feel choreographed. In the end, while the women don't seem to be suffering, exactly, it is really quite hard to believe they are really enjoying themselves. There's one female orgasm, at most, in the second scene, and it's not clear that Drake cums then even.

The photography is pretty good, with wide shots, and plenty of both of their faces, in most cases.

This is quite passionate, but not very convincing. They need to be more quiet if it's all so forbidden. And she never seems very aroused.

Another romance scene: They too make love on a couch.

The basic problem with this scene is simply that it is too slow-paced. There's no real sense of passion here at all. She may rub herself to an orgasm as he fucks her, but it is not clear.

Another scene from the book, with sex, yet again, on a couch. Unfortunately, there is not much passion here at all. The scene feels very performed, and she never seems all that into it.

Scene 4: Tasha Reign and Marco Rivera (♀♂)

Danielle's boyfriend has sex with his lover.

This scene is a bit gratuitous. It has some role in the story, but feels forced, and the sex really isn't that interesting. Worse, she never seems all that aroused.

Scene 5: Jessica Drake and Xander Corvus (♀♂)

Michael and Danielle finally get together, and the sex is quite good. There is intense flirting before they have sex, and there is an excellent concept behind the beginning of this scene. Part of it is in his story, and part of it is in real life.

Unfortunately, though, it is never as passionate as it should have been, and she never seems near orgasm.
