Review

This is a series of four vignettes, all focused on established couples. Each of them has a backstory, but not much time is spent on these: barely two minutes in one case and five minutes at most. They are all well-presented, and the actors and actresses do a good job of staying in role throughout. But we thought the second one was a bit silly.

The sex is generally very good, and all of the scenes are enjoyable. The first, which features Maddy O'Reilly and Xander Corvus having clandestine sex at a party, has an extremely hot intro, but it doesn't quite live up to its promise. The second scene is all right, but gets a bit monotonous, probably because of problems with the camera work. But the last two scenes are terrific, especially the third, which was probably our favorite. We have yet to see anything with Jodi Taylor in which she did not shine, and there is fantastic chemistry between her and Logan Pierce.

The camera work was a little disappointing. It is not bad, and there are some absolutely fantastic shots here and there. But once the various couples start fucking, the woman becomes much more the focus than the man is, and there are too many sequences when he is out of frame for too long. Again, it's not bad, but we've come to expect better from Jacky St James.

Scene 1: Maddy O'Reilly and Xander Corvus (♀♂)

While they are at a party, Maddy passes Xander a cup with a note on it, asking him to meet her upstairs in the bathroom. The setup is brief, about two minutes, but sexy as hell. The way she talks to him, seducing him, is very hot. Unfortunately, the scene does not live up to that promise.

There is excellent chemistry between them, and the sex is quite passionate at times. She has at least a couple orgasms. But it ends up feeling a bit monotonous, probably because of problems with the camera work, which is merely all right. There are some good shots of his face, but the angles generally feel a bit pornish, perhaps because the close quarters limit the options. It does give the scene a very intimate feel, and they make good use of the mirror, but there are far too many "medical" shots for our taste.

There really are a lot of good things about this scene. Just not quite enough.

Scene 2: Jenna Ross and Seth Gamble (♀♂)

Jenna and Seth have had some sort of fight—and when they do, they don't talk to each other, this time for two days. He eventually gets her to talk by starting a pillow fight, more or less, so they have make-up sex.

The intro here is a little bit silly. Fortunately, it only last three minutes.

There is pretty good chemistry between them, and they do a reasonable job of staying in character, exchanging words of affection as they make love. But their repeated comments about how much they missed each other—how much she missed his cock, for example—don't make a lot of sense.

The sex is reasonably passionate, but it feels oddly restrained. There are several "teasers" of rougher sex: slapping, his putting his fingers into her mouth, and so forth, but that never happens. She does seem quite aroused, and to enjoy herself, even if she never seems terribly close to orgasm.

The camera work is close and intimate, especially at the beginning, with excellent balance and a wide range of shots. There are some fantastic close-ups of their faces. There are a few shots that feel more "pornish", but not many. She is a bit more the focus than he is, however, and we lose him a bit when they are fucking doggy style. There is also a "POV" shot while she is sucking him that we found annoying.

While there were some good things in this scene, then, it felt in the end as if it just went on too long.

Scene 3: Jodi Taylor and Logan Pierce (♀♂)

The backstory is well acted and consumes about four minutes, although she ends up seeming a bit flaky. They do a great job staying in character once the sex starts, smiling at each other, giggling, and talking. He even mentions her ring, and she says how good it looks next to his cock. Unsurprisingly, then, there is fantastic chemistry between them, and she seems to have several orgasms, though she is fairly quiet. "You've already made me cum quite a few times", she says near the end, when he says she's about to make him cum.

The camera work at the beginning is excellent. There are some truly wonderful shots here, some wider, and some close and intimate. Once they start fucking, though, there are several sequences when we do not see a lot of him. Sometimes, the focus seems to be on her enjoyment of what is happening, but in the end we just felt as if we did not see enough of him. Still, the photography is pretty good, overall.

Scene 4: Chanel Preston and Ryan Driller (♀♂)

The backstory lasts about five minutes, and it is cute and well done. So there is a lot of sex: about 26 minutes. But there is terrific chemistry between them, and they do a good job staying in character, engaging in a playful sort of banter, especially at the beginning. The sex is reasonably passionate and convincing, and the positions, and changes, generally feel natural. She seems to enjoy herself a lot, too, having at least one orgasm and probably more. So, despite how long this scene is, it held our attention pretty well.

The camera work is pretty good. As with the other scenes, there is a good mix of shots, and there are some wonderful close-ups of their faces. Unforuntately, though, once they start fucking, he is too often out of frame—even though the other sorts of shots in those same sequences are terrific. So it is a bit of mixed bag.
