Review

Unlike the earlier movies in the Tales From the Edge series, this one is not a collection of vignettes but a unified story. But less than fifteen minutes is actually devoted to the story, so it ends up feeling like a set of "connected" vignettes. Still, what there is of the story is pretty amusing, in an almost cartoonish sort of way, and there are parts that are laugh-out-loud funny.

Kristin (Karla Kush) is getting married to Matt (Chad White). But she has been hiding the best man Ben (Logan Pierce) underneath her wedding dress while talking to her mother Barb (Brandi Love). Mom finally leaves, allowing Ben to escape, then Mom goes downstairs where she has sex with the groom, Matt (Chad White). Ben then talks Kristin into having sex with him in her dressing room. Kristin's father (Tommy Gunn), on the other hand, is just trying to get her best friend Jessa (Rhodes) to tell him why he woke up naked in her bed, since he can't remember. Meanwhile, Kristin's sister Scarlet (Red) has gone to pick up the minister (Steven St Croix), whose battery has apparently died. She lets herself into his house, only to find him half-naked—and with a wedding cake that says "Happy Birthday Steph". He tells her she is too stressed, and that he needs to relax her, which leads to their having sex, too—and then calling in their regrets, so they can do it again.

The acting here is really good. Steven St Croix is great, as usual—once again, as a creepy yet sexy guy. Everyone else does a really good job, too, especially Logan Pierce, Jessa Rhodes, and Tommy Gunn. So if you like a bit of "naughtiness" with your sex, the story will give you some of that.

As for the sex, all four scenes are enjoyable. The best is the third, with Jessa Rhodes and Tommy Gunn. There's good chemistry between them, and we found it sweet how she takes pity on him, since he's apparently not had sex with his wife for four years. The sex is pretty passionate, too, and she cums at least once and maybe more.

The second and fourth scenes are also quite good. We especially liked the seductive element of the fourth scene, and Scarlet Red really did a great job as the reluctant target of St Croix's desires. It's a very long scene though—over half an hour—and we wished it had been just a bit shorter. The first scene has the same problem, and it isn't nearly as good. There is just not great chemistry between Brandi Love and Chad White.

What holds the movie back most, though, is that the camera work during the sex scenes is middling. There are places it is excellent, such as the beginning of the third scene. But, especially once the fucking starts, it becomes predictable and a bit pornish.

Still, this is a fun movie, and we enjoyed watching it.

The mother of the bride has sex with the groom, saying all the time how they shouldn't be doing it, worrying that she's heard something, and asking him if he feels "at least a little bit bad". She eventually decides its his wedding gift. So she does a great job of carrying the story into the scene. He participates a bit, too, but not much.

There is not great chemistry between them, though, and the sex, though it doesn't feel performed, is not nearly as passionate as one would expect it to be, given the story. It's nice how they move around to different locations in the room. But neither of them seems terribly aroused most of the time, and she never seems near orgasm. As a result, the scene seems to go on a bit too long.

The camera work is a bit pornish, though not all the time. There are some strange angles, and more closeups than we would prefer, as well as something close to POV shots. But there are also some very nice shots, and we see a fair bit of him even when they are fucking.

Scene 2: Karla Kush and Logan Pierce (♀♂)

The bride has sex with the best man.

Both of them do a very good job carrying the story into the scene, with her talking about how bad they are being and him talking about fucking her in her wedding dress. That makes a very sexy premise even hotter.

There is very good chemistry between them. The sex is not quite as passionate as one might expect from the story, but it's pretty hot, and she seems very aroused at times. In many ways, her pleasure is the focus of the scene, and of his attention. He spends a very long time eating her pussy. But we were about ready for this scene to be over after about 15 minutes or so...and yet it went on for another eight minutes. And for much of that time, she really didn't seem that aroused, let alone anywhere near orgasm.

The photography here is a bit better than in the first scene, though similar.

Scene 3: Jessa Rhodes and Tommy Gunn (♀♂)

There is quite good chemistry between them, and the sex feels appropriately passionate for the story. There is very good communication between them, and they both seem to enjoy themselves quite a bit. She has at least one orgasm, and maybe more than one. So it's a very good scene, though again we thought it might have been just a little less long.

The photography at the beginning of this scene is excellent, with a really intimate feel. It becomes a bit more predictable once they start fucking, though there are still some great shots. But there are more closeups than we would have wanted, and she is much more the focus than he is, especially towards the end.

Scene 4: Scarlet Red and Steven St Croix (♀♂)

The minister (Stephen St Croix) insists upon doing some energy healing with the bride's sister Scarlet (Red) before they leave for the wedding. They end up having sex, though it's hard to say exactly when that starts—and so how long this scene is. And it is a very long scene. There's enough variation that it did not seem that long, but we did find ourselves wondering why it couldn't have been a bit shorter. The last ten minutes, certainly, could have been compressed.

Steven St Croix is once again amazing as the creepy but sexy guy, and Scarlet Red does a really good job acting the reluctant but intrigued target of his desires.

There is fairly good chemistry between them, and the sex is fairly passionate, though maybe not as passionate as would fit the story. They do both seem to enjoy themselves, though, and she seems fairly aroused through much of the scene. She seems fairly near orgasm when she is atop him, and she may cum then, though we were not sure.

The camera work is comparable to that in the previous scenes: good, and with some great shots, but also with some issues, mostly: too many closeups, and not enough of him, especially when they are fucking.
