Review

This was the first movie in the Tabu Tales series that wasn't a collection of vignettes, but a unified story. But not much time is really spent on the story: only about twenty minutes.

Tracy (Casey Calvert) is about to get married, but she is still a virgin at 23. So, obviously, she asks her finace's husband (Steven St Croix) to take her virginity, so she'll be ready on her wedding night. He resists for a time, but eventually she gets to him.

Mike (Anthony Rosano), who is the best man, has had to get help from his step-mom (Nikki Daniels) to write his speech. The same step-mom he has been fucking, which he does again. Obviously.

Meanwhile, the groom, Kyle (Logan Pierce), is getting ready in his room when his ex-lover, and step-sister, Alison (Adriana Chechik) pops in to drop some things off. He confesses that he misses her and calls Tracy, seemingly to re-assure himself. Tracy says it's bad luck for them to talk, and then her father Randy (Alec Knight) shows up wanting to use her bidet.

Tracy sends him off to find her cousin Lisa (Dahlia Sky), who is supposed to be setting things up. But he finds Lisa in the bathroom, shaving her anus in case she has sex, which leads to a conversation with her uncle, and one-time Sunday School teacher, that makes him very nervous. When he says he's only ever had sex with his now-dead wife, Lisa thinks that's hot, because he is "so virginal". So she seduces him, after which he asks her to marry him. Obviously.

Alison hears the great news and runs to tell Kyle that the wedding will be starting a little late, since there'll be two. So she sits down on the bed to keep Kyle company...and, obviously, it isn't long before she turns to him and kisses him. He suggests maybe they should get back together, but she tells him to marry Tracy and "let her family be filled with all the incestuous weirdos". Just for a change.

So the story has a bit of a cartoonish quality to it, which isn't a bad thing. There are a lot of very funny moments here, and we found ourselves laughing out loud more than once. But the sex scenes are a mixed bag.

The first is excellent—largely because Steven St Croix is in it, and he does his usual amazing job. In this case, he's the reluctant party, and he plays his role extremely well. Casey Calvert is incredibly convincint as the innoceng virgin, too. The last scene is pretty good as well, with excellent chemistry between Adriana Chechik and Logan Pierce, who are very convincing as a couple of exes who still have the hots for each other. The other two scenes, though, are not so great.

The real problem, though, is that the camera work during the sex scenes is not very good. The men are out of frame a lot of the time, especially when they are fucking, which, again, is a lot of the time. The sex has a somewhat somewhat pornish feel as well.

The version we watched was a 1920x1080 MP4 downloaded from the New Sensations website. It's a 6.4GB file, so one would expect the quality to be very good, but there was a lot of quantization distortion: enough to be a bit distracting at times.

Calvert does an amazingly good job playing the inexperienced virgin. It's great the way she expresses her enjoyment and excitement, talking about what she is feeling. Her innocent, girlish voice is perfect for this role. She is extremely convincing, too, as she loses her virginity. St Croix is his usual fantastic, too, and he is wonderfully loving and gentle with her. His description of what he is feeling, and what he enjoys, is also very sexy.

As for the sex, it is passionate and convincing, and there is excellent chemistry between them. They both seem to enjoy themselves a great deal, too, and she cums while riding him. But it's a very long scene, and we thought it might have been edited a little bit more, especially the doggy style sequence at the end.

The camera work is really, really good at the beginning. We see plenty of his face as she is sucking him. But he is out of frame much of the time when they are fucking, and the close-ups linger too long for our taste. But there are some great shots, too, while she is astride him.

Daniels does an amazing job of portraying a woman who clearly gets off on the very idea of fucking her step-son. A wonderful smile comes over her face when he accidentally calls her "Mom". Rosano is good, as well, looking appropriately shocked when she suggests she should divorce his father so they can get married.

The sex is fairly passionate, and there is pretty good chemistry between them. And they do both seem to enjoy themselves somewhat, though she never seems all to be all that aroused. But the way he talks to her feels very pornish, and as a result so does the sex. It's a long scene, again, too, so it ended up seeming quite monotonous by the end.

That's at least partly because the camera work is just not very good. He is out of frame most of the time that they are fucking...and that is most of the time. There are also more close-ups than we would prefer, and some of the angles are very pornish. Basically, it just feels as if the camera is too close to them: an intruder rather than an observer.

The camera work is really not very good, either. It's comparable to that in the second scene, but maybe a bit worse. When they are first fucking, he is completely out of frame, and she fills it, for the first several minutes. We do get a wider shot for a little bit, but then it goes back to tight on her body. There are way too many close-ups, too, especially during the anal sequences.

And they both seem to have a terrific time, too, with her seeming very aroused throughout and having at least two orgasms.

The camera work, though, is again not very good, and there is not much that is visually interesting. There are some nice shots here and there, including a great shot of their faces, from above, when they are spooning. But there is a POV shot when she is sucking him, there are too many close-ups, and we do not see nearly enough of him.
