Review

This movie consists of two separate stories, each consisting of two scenes.

The first story is entitled "My Neighbor's Wife".

"Joe and Jillian are swingers", Lindsay (Keira Nicole) blurts out to her husband Patrick (Chad White). Lindsay's best friend Jillian (Jodi Taylor) had kissed her, passionately, just before she told her, and now the women want to swap husbands. And, as Patrick puts it, "The 'I don't know' became a 'maybe', and the 'maybe' became a 'yes'", and Lindsay ends up in bed with Joe (Michael Vegas), after which Lindsay and Jillian give Patrick a treat.

The second story is entitled "Borrowed Wives".

Cherie (DeVille) and Jenny (Britney Amber) have been best friends for a long time, and their husbands Tyler (Ryan McLane) and Max (Richie Calhoun) are close, as well. Max and Jenny's swinging has become something of a fascination for Cherie and Tyler, who are more "traditional". And now they have become very curious, and ready to move beyond fantasy. So, one night at dinner with their friends, they set out to seduce them. The hint-dropping isn't going that well, so when Max disappears Cherie and Tyler tell Jenny what they want. She suggests that Cherie go find Max and "keep him company" while she does the same with Tyler.

The story aspects are really well done, especially in "My Neighbor's Wife". The interaction between Lindsay and Patrick after she has sex with Joe is really sweet. They are both appropriately nervous, but in the end her experience, and his acceptance of it, reaffirms their relationship. The discussion between Lindsay and Jillian, about Lindsay's feelings about Patrick maybe having sex with her, is also excellent. The discussion that Cherie and Tyler have in bed, dancing around the question whether they might try swinging, is also very hot, and very natural. And, despite the fact that the titles of the two stories reflect a male point of view, the stories themselves do not. They are at least as focused on the women's desires and initiative as they are on the men's.

So this was a movie we were very much prepared to like.

Unfortunately, the sex scenes simply don't live up to the promise of the stories. The basic problem, as with many of the recent movies in this series, is that the scenes are too long, and whatever passion exists at the beginning of the scene simply isn't sustained through the end of it. As we've said before, it just isn't that interesting to watch people do the same thing, over and over.

Overall, the photography is disappointing, too. It is reasonably good in the last scene, and we really enjoyed the wider shots when they were having oral sex, since their pleasure was so clearly visible on their faces. And there are some very good, even excellent, shots at the beginning of all the scenes. Unfortunately, though, as so often, once they start fucking, the camera work becomes predictable and pornish, and the male performer is very often out of frame.

We are giving this movie four stars largely on the strength of the stories, which, as we said, we found very sexy. If we were going to rate it entirely on the sex scenes, we would have given it only three and a half stars. So we would recommend it, but mostly for people who will get into the swinging fantasy.

At the 2016 XBiz Awards, this movie won the award for Best Couples-Themed Release, and Kiera Nicole won for Best Actress in a Couples-Themed Release.

Scene 1: Keira Nicole and Michael Vegas (♀♂)

Lindsay (Keira Nicole) has her first swinging experience with her neighbor Joe (Michael Vegas).

We had high hopes for this scene at the beginning. There is pretty good chemistry between them, and the sex feels natural enough. It's really great how they talk to each other at the start, and how gentle and understanding he is. But, in the end, the sex simply isn't as passionate as one would expect it to be, given the story. She does seem to enjoy the cunnilinugus quite a bit, and to become fairly aroused, but she is a bit more talkative—and in a pornish way—than felt natural to us. It's not realistic to us, either, that she would deepthroat him to gagging the first time they had sex, especially because she does not seem all that enthusiastic about it. The fucking sequences also seemed to go on much too long for our taste, too, without enough variation.

Some of the camera work here is excellent, especially at the beginning. But the camera is very static once they start fucking, and he is often (though not always) out of frame.

Scene 2: Jodi Taylor, Keira Nicole, and Chad White (♀♂)

Lindsay (Keira Nicole) isn't entirely sure how she will feel about Jillian (Jodi Taylor) having sex with Patrick (Chad White). So Jillian suggests that Lindsay should watch. Lindsay runs off to get Patrick and offers him to Jillian. "Kiss her", she says, "really kiss her".

There is pretty good chemistry between Jillian and Patrick. But the real chemistry is between the women. Lindsay's expressions of how excited she is to watch her husband fuck her best friend are really sexy, as are Jillian's comments to Lindsay about what she is feeling. But, as in the first scene, the sex itself just isn't as passionate as it ought to be. He especially feels a bit restrained somehow, maybe because the scene goes on so long—too long, again. But it does at least feel more realistic, overall, than the first scene.

It was a good idea to have Lindsay be present while Patrick and Jillian fuck. But she never seems all that excited to be watching, and her masturbation often feels unenthusiastic.

The camera work at the beginning is really fantastic, with a great mix of wider and closer shots. We especially liked the shots from Lindsay's point of view, as she watches her best friend and husband fuck. As the fucking continues, however, the shots become less interesting, and more pornish, and we see less of him. By the end, he is very much out of frame.

Scene 3: Cherie DeVille and Richie Calhoun (♀♂)

Cherie (De Ville)---this character never actually seems to be named—finds Max in the bathroom and more or less attacks him, explaining as she does so that she's discussed it with Jenny and Tyler, and that it's all OK.

We really appreciated all the touching and kissing at the beginning of this scene, and there is quite good chemistry between them. There is also some good communication between them, such as when she asks him to show her how he likes to be sucked. She really seems to enjoy his fingering her and eating her pussy, too, and to get very aroused. But, as in the previous scenes, the sex just didn't feel as passionate to us as it really should be, given the story. That is probably, once again, beause the scene is much too long, with too little variation. At times, they seem just to be going through the motions. And she never really seems very aroused once they start fucking.

The camera work at the beginning is once again excellent, especially when he is going down on her. Unfortunately, once they start fucking, we have the same sorts of problems as in the previous scenes, with pornish angles and an absent guy. But it is really even worse than in those scenes. There is a very POV-ish shot when she is sucking him, and we really do not see much of him at all during that sequence.

Scene 4: Britney Amber and Ryan McLane (♀♂)

We really liked how the scene switched back and forth between the two couples at the beginning. It is really hot! So we really wish that that had continued for longer. We understand the (possibly financial) reasons that might not have been possible, but Cherie might at least have continued her narration, to keep up the idea that Jenny and Tyler's partners were listening to them fuck.

The good news is that the sex is finally as passionate as one would expect it to be from the story. She really seems to enjoy his going down on her, and we are fairly sure she cums at least once, possibly twice. She also really seems to get into sucking him, and the wide shots during this sequence make it very clear just how good it feels to him. She also really seems to get into fucking him. The bad news is that her vocalizations are less than fully convincing. She seemed aroused enough to us to want to make a lot of noise, but a lot of noise is one thing, and constantly talking the way she does is another.

The real problem, once again, though, is that the scene is just too long. As is clear from the synopsis, there really isn't much variation in the sex, though we did like how smoothly the scene was edited, so that we had the sense we were watching one continuous episode.

The camera work in this scene is better than in the others, though still not great. As we already said, we really enjoyed the wide shots when she is sucking him. But we do, once again, lose sight of him much of the time they are fucking, though not as badly as in the earlier scenes, and there are some really good shots while they are fucking, too.
