Review
Mark (Aaron Wilcox) is a real estate developer who works with his girlfriend, Claire (Penny Pax). Kelly (Allie Haze) is Mark's assistant, who is secretly in love with him, although she has a steady boyfriend, Ben (Logan Pierce). The drama revolves around Mark's plans to tear down a community center at which his brother (Kris Slater) happens to work.
It's actually a pretty good story, and a good deal of time is devoted to it: nearly half an hour, or about a third of the movie. There are some surprising twists along the way that keep it interesting, too. But some of it is a bit over the top. In fact, everything involving Claire is over the top: It's not so much that she overacts as that the part is way over-written.
The sex scenes generally have a very romantic feel. The first three scenes are all between established couples, and the last is of the new couple, Mark and Kelly. The performers all manage to stay pretty well in character, and the sex is mostly quite passionate and convincing. The downside is that we're not sure any of the women ever get aroused enough to be anywhere near orgasm, though Haze might cum in the third scene.
The acting at the very beginning is pretty bad—surprisingly, because Penny Pax can definitely act. (She has proved that she can in The Submission of Emma Marx and Voilà, at least.) It leaves the impression that not enough effort was made to get the non-sex parts of the movie right (e.g., to give the performers enough time to learn and practice the dialogue). The interaction between Kelly and her friend (Presley Hart) is terrific, though.
Overall, then, while there are no doubt ways this movie could have been better, we enjoyed it quite a bit.
The film was nominated for Best Romance Release at the 2014 AVN awards.

This scene is pretty routine. There isn't much of a connection between them, and the sex is not particularly passionate. It feels a bit planned, though not performed. But it gets better once they start fucking. She seems to have a reasonably good time, and at one point it seems she might cum, but she never does.
The camera work is pretty good, though. There are perhaps a few more closeups than we would prefer, but they do not linger. And there are hardly any sustained shots in which he is out of frame.
Scene 2: Allie Haze and Logan Pierce (♀♂)

Ben (Logan Pierce) has come over to surprise his girlfriend Kelly (Allie Haze), but she gets home really late, and he falls asleep in her bed. When she does get home, though, she is complaining of sore feet, so he rubs her feet for her, which leads to sex.
There is quite good chemistry between them, and the sex is reasonably passionate, although it does follow the suck-eat-fuck formula. But it's nice, and a bit different, how she pulls down her own pants to give him access to her pussy as she sucks him.
The camera work is excellent, with a great mix of shots, including nice views of both their faces when they are being orally pleasured. There are very few times when he is out of frame for any length of time. The rating is as much for that as for the sex. (And, admittedly, for the fact that Allie Haze is in this scene.)
Scene 3: Presley Hart and Kris Slater (♀♂)

Couple have sex on their bed. He tells her near the beginning of the scene that he loves her, which really sets a nice mood. And they really do manage to stay in character through the scene. There's a lot of kissing and some great communication, all of which contributes to the sense of connection between them.
The sex is reasonably passionate, although it does follow a standard eat-suck-fuck formula. She seems as if she might cum at one point, but she never does, though she does seem to enjoy herself.
The camera work in this scene is again very good, with a great mix of shots. There are some really terrific shots of their faces. But there are a few more shots than in the earlier scenes in which he is out of frame.
Scene 4: Allie Haze and Aaron Wilcox (♀♂)

The positions are a bit pornish, but, in the context of the movie, they might have felt passionate, or even desperate. Unfortunately, the sex just does not feel as passionate as it should be, so it does end up seeming pornish.
She also never seems all that aroused, though she does seem to have a reasonably good time. That may be, in part, because the scene is so short. In fact, it is surprisingly short for what one would have expected to be the climactic scene of the movie.
The camera work is very good, though. The fact that they have sex on a spiral staircase limits the shots that are possible, however. Still, they do a good job mixing wider and closer shots.
