Review

A collection of four vignettes, all concerning women who have "hall passes" from their husbands: permission to have sex with other men. We'll go ahead and ask the question, even though we know the answer: Why can't there be even just one story here about a husband whose wife has given him permission to have sex with another woman? What is nice, though, is the way the stories focus on the women's sexual desire and sexual agency. They are generally very sexy.

Unfortunately, as with many of the recent movies in this series, the camera work is not very good. The third scene is by far the worst in this respect. Ramon Nomar is out of frame almost the entire time he and Brooklyn Chase are fucking. The first and last scenes are better. As often, there are some very interesting shots at the beginning, but once they start fucking, things deteriorate quickly. The second scene is much better in this respect.

The sex itself is also a mixed bag. Again, the worst case is the third scene, in which the sex is very pornish. The fourth scene isn't great, either, in this respect, though there the problem is just that the sex isn't terribly passionate and never feels very natural. The first scene is much better. There seems to be genuine attraction between Mick Blue and Anikka Albrite, and they both seem to enjoy themselves a greate deal. The second scene is again the best of a ragged bunch. The chemistry between Cherie DeVille and Ryan McLane is excellent, and the sex feels very natural.

Robert (Mick Blue), a real estate agent who is best friends with Victoria (Anikka Albrite) and her husband, is Victoria's "hall pass guy". She enters in a short skirt and top and asks him if he's nervous, which he says he is, and she says she is, but that she wants to do it, and it won't change anything between them. So she starts to undress, with her back to him, then turns around and takes off her skirt as he watches her. She then peels off her panties, with her back to him, leaving her in a garter and stockings, and he can barely look at her.

She lies on the bed and starts to tell him about her fantasies about him as she strokes her pussy. "I've waited for today for so long", she says. "So please don't disappoint me", she says, and he is still nervous. "So kiss me", she says, "touch me", and he does. "Don't treat me like Andrew's wife", she says. "Treat me like a woman you want to tear apart".

The intro lasts about four minutes, leaving about 22 minutes for sex, which makes it a scene of reasonable length. It's in many ways a sexy little story, full of her desire for him, and of her desire for him to desire her. It's sexy how nervous he is, and how she coaxes him into fucking her until his own desire takes over. But the last line, about "tearing her apart", sat uncomfortably with us. It's an odd expression, though one clearly aimed at unleashing his passion.

They do not really continue the story into the sex, but the sex does still feel passionate enough for the story, and she cums several times. But some of the sequences were too long, largely because the photography is mediocre, at best. There are some pretty good shots, such as a very nice wider shot though a railing when she is on top of him. But he is out of frame far too often, especially later in the scene, and there are too many close-ups. It's better than in many of the recent movies in this series, but not nearly as good as it should be, and has been.

Scene 2: Cherie DeVille and Ryan McLane (♀♂)

Jason (Ryan McLane) is a masseuse who is about to become the "hall pass guy" for Charlotte (Cherie DeVille). He is massaging her, but she is very nervous, since she hasn't had sex with anyone other than her husband in over a decade. After they talk things through, though, she leans over and starts to kiss him passionately, which of course moves everything along.

The whole story is very, very sweet, and is he very kind to her, and understanding. It only lasts about three minutes, but it does still provide a good context for the sex. They do a great job carrying the story into the sex, too. There's a lot of giggling and talking, and excellent chemistry between them. We maybe could have used a bit more kissing and such, but the sex is passionate and hot.

The camera work at the beginning is very good, with a great mixture of shots, even when she is sucking him. We lose him when they are doggy style, but even when they are fucking there is generally a good mix of shots. There are not so many close-ups as in the other scenes, either.

Scene 3: Brooklyn Chase and Ramon Nomar (♀♂)

Javier (Ramon Nomar) is a "personal chef known for his ability to turn any food into an aphrodisiac". He is also the 'hall pass guy' for Rachel (Brooklyn Chase). So he makes a pasta dish for her while she ogles him, then more or less feeds it to her, followed by a dessert. She leans over and kisses him, but he says they can't do what they're about to do, since she's "mar-ry-ed". So she takes off her ring and says, "Not today I'm not", which doesn't convince him. But she tells him she has a "hall pass", which she explains to him in quite explicit terms.

The intro lasts about 4:40, which leaves about 25 minutes for sex. It's a very (very!) sexy story, which is totally focused on her desire for him, which we find really hot. Unfortunately, the sex itself is not that great. It starts way too quickly for us. He is fucking her not even two minutes into the scene. And much of the rest feels routine, if not pre-planned. She never seems very aroused.

The camera work is not very good, either. In fact, it is worse than in the first or fourth scene. He is out of frame the entire first sequence when they are fucking, and there is a close-to-POV shot when she is sucking him that we found very unappealing.

Scene 4: Ava Dalush and Chad White (♀♂)

Chad works in the warehouse...and is Ava's "hall pass guy". She calls him into her office and says she wants to fuck him. He thinks it's a joke, so she calls her husband, and he confirms that he's agreed to her plan.

It's a very minimal story, if one can even call it a story, and it lasts only about two minutes. So that leaves over 28 minutes for sex, which makes it a long scene. They do a pretty good job of carrying the story into the scene, which helps. She does especially well here, talking about how she wishes her husband could see them, and she tries to involve Chad, but he doesn't participate much at all. (To be honest, other than in Second Chances, we have not found Chad White to be much of an actor.)

The sex does not feel entirely natural, either, though it does not feel pre-planned or directed. He is eating her pussy within a minute or so, whereas we would have expected more kissing. She never seems terribly aroused, either, let alone anywhere near orgasm, and the various sequences feel as if they go on too long. The whole scene could have been a bit shorter.

The camera work overall is not bad, but it's not good, either. At the beginning, it is quite good. There is a good mix of closeups of him eating her pussy, wider shots of them both, and closer shots of her face. But unfortunately, as so often, once they start fucking, it is not nearly as good. There are some very nice shots when they are spooning, and there are nice shots of her face throughout. But he is often out of frame, and there are too many closeups.
